Hi. I need to replace the exterior door handle for my 2003 tracker.
Does anyone have special instructions for how I do this. Is the tracker any
different than any other chevy? I have the new handle and am ready to go.

I just bought a tracker and it seems I will have this same job soon. Hopefully someone will chime in with some advice.

 

I broke mine a couple weeks ago and will be replacing it soon. You have to remove the interior door cover and waterproof liner. I'm not sure that you can reach it without taking out the window regulator and glass, but I will let you know as soon as I fix mine. It unbolts from the inside.

 

Very easy job! After pulling back the water seal, you just remove the 2 bolts holding it in place. The open lever(metal rod) also has to be disconnected. Just turn the plastic holder 90 degrees and pull out. Installing is reverse.
