Question Front rotors

So I needed to change my front rotors and pads on my 1998 chevy tracker 4dr. I bought all the parts and when I went to change them there was a huge difference between the one I bought an the ones on my tracker. the rotors on my tracker are about an inch or so wide but the replacement one I bought were only like a 1/4 inch single plate. I'm not sure if a previous owner upgraded them or if for some reason mine just got bigger ones instead. But if anyone can point in the direction of what to do it would be helpful cause I really need to change them before they get worse. An they still have the stock rims so the bolt pattern is the same as if they are the stack rotors that are suppose to be on there. Please help!

I just replaced all my brakes as well. I got AcDelco (GM) DuraStop parts. The front rotors and vented, but still rather thin. I'm not sure why you got solid disks....
