Question How to clean plastic rear windshield?

Hi I'm new here. I purchased my used 1999 Tracker 3 years ago . It is 2 door with convertible top/sides/back. The back 'glass' has become so hazy/foggy that I can barely see while driving. It says to clean with only water which is what I've been doing; seems like it only makes it worse. I don't want to cause ruin. Is there anything I can safely use to clear things up somewhat? Thanks so much!

Thumbs up

Yes, it can be polished up very well, depending on how deep the scratches are. Sounds like you should start with Meguiars Plastx. Works on foggy headlights too.
Normally used products are Meguiar's Mirror Glaze #17, #10, Clear Plastic Polish and Plastx for serious blemishs. Also needed is "Powerball" os similar product attached to your drill. Use a corded electric drill as there will be hours of polishing.
