noise in left front, squeaking
have a 2002 4 door tracker, z, developed a noise in the front end only
turning to the left.. since it has 134k i replace the front struts and strut
mounts. i also cked the ball joints tierod ends and sway bar bushing..they are all good... the noise went away and than came back.. jacked the car
up and turned the wheel, i can feel the noise with my hand on the extended strut..turning wheel.... so i replaced the left strut only again..warranty(like you care) drove the car for 30 miles no noise..than
it's back... any input would be great. tks

would the wheel bearing cause a squeaking sound?? my 04 trlblzer makes noise in front left also, it is noisy on rotation and worse when turning right. before when wheel bearing was bad it was more of a howling or louder road noise. This sounds almost like rubber sqeaking
I suggested the bearing because ontheroadagain11 already rep[laced his bushings, There was nothing left but the bearings. I have also heard bearings make all kinds of funny noises. Don't rule anything out.
