Default Oil Leak Help

Hello,

I am brand new to the platform and I just encountered my first issue with my Tracker.
I noticed a small puddle under the car of oil, and when I looked up and under it, there seems to be a significant oil leak from somewhere at the front of the engine.
I was wondering if anyone has any insight into any common issues with this engine that may have occurred to cause this.

Edit : It is a 99 with the 2.0L in an Auto

You need to locate the leak. These kits are on Amazon for not too much

On the J20 engine the lower crankcase bolts to the bottom of the cylinder block.

Pressurized oil from the oil pump passes through the lower crankcase to the oil filter on the cylinder block. An O-ring failure between the crankcase and block will generate a significant leak. Degrease that part of the engine, start the car and look for seepage inside the red circled area.
