New to me: 2002 Tracker 4 door ZR2. Rear door will not open. Parts of latch appear to have rusted away. Any trick to open from inside ?

 

I recently had a problem with mine.... I found that the handle was not coming back down far enough to totally disengage and allow for the rear to unlock. I was able to get a finger above the handle and pull it down the rest of the way and got it unlocked and it opened up. Sprayed with lots of penetrating oil and worked it for a while and now the handle springs back down on its own again.

 

I replaced the latch completely. Spring had rusted away and handle was seized...
