I have a neighbor that let his son use his trailblazer. It sat for a while. Now the window and hatch doesnt open. What do i do to help him? I can hear mechanism work.

 

I had same problem so I got can of good spray lube it up starting moving things back and forth to start freeing up the rusted areas well now everything works and seems no issues with it opening and closing it's in need of tlc and little work as the hatch gets pretty dirty and lack of getting sprayed with good lube to keep from rusting again
