I'm brand new to the forum, and was hoping someone has run into the same problem I am experiencing. My truck is showing a p1271 code. I was told,,, could be fan clutch, could be pedal sensor.. Has anyone had the same problem? what was the fix? the fan clutch or the pedal sensor.. Please reply if you have been through this, I hate to just start replacing parts till I find the problemmm... just steer me in the right direction... any help would be greatly appreciated.... Thank you, Pippo047... you may e-mail me if need be,,, pippo047@aol.com or philipcacchione@verizon.net.....

I am having a simular issue. i get a reduced engine power light and the service engine soon light. with 3 codes P1221, P1271, P1635. we have replaced the APP sensor, throttle body, and tested the fan clutch. before replacing the Throttle body it would go at least 30mph. now i can not get it over 10mph. I am at a lose as to what the problem is with my car. I have seen on a number of sites it being the throttle body as the main issue. Yet hs not fixed mine. I have taken it to a shop. they could not get it to duplicate the issue. it seems that it does this when it is cool out side. if you get any leads a to what i can try please let me know.
