2004 trailblazer ran out of gas and gas pedal now grinds
 

My 2004 trailblazer ran out of gas yesterday while i was driving :(. After filling it from my emergency tank, I pressed the gas pedal to circulate the gas. It now makes a grinding sound when i press the gas pedal and the cars shakes violently.:eek: It sounds like a cynderblock is stuck in the under- carriage. As a result, the engine light blinks constantly! I made an appointment to have a computer diagnostic this weekend. :confused:I would like to know what type of damage did i cause and how much will it run to fix it before i take it to the dealership? Whats wrong with it? :mad:
