My ax unit shuts down and sometimes comes back on while driving.
For the past two days it has shut down and won't come on unless I disconnect the blower and connect it again?

 

what part shuts down...just the rear blower motor?

 

no the back blower has been off for awhile its the front blower. Today I noticed that when I applied brakes it went off then came back on again.

 

try hammer fisting the blower motor the next time it shuts off....if it starts working, the brushes inthe blower motor are probably worn....replace the blower motor.
could also be loose connection, inspect the connector for a tight pin fit.

 

will do, I ordered the ac resistor and ignition switch to replace old ones .
