Default 2007 Steering Positioning Sensor

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but am experiencing some problems with my 2007 Trailblazer LT with a 4.2L. It's spitting several codes and the one im currently addressing is a bad steering positioning sensor. I found some tutorials online but they arent helping me much it seems this is kind of difficult. I took apart the dash so I could see the steering shaft and I can see the bolt that holds the shaft together. I also can see what I believe is the sensor itself. I am having a hard time visualizing what order I need to do this in. I think the screws are Torx screws anyone know the exact size? On my replacement part there is a long stiff spring and a bolt pretruding. Can someone give me a quick run through on how to address this with a hint or too. Or if there already is a DIY on here post the link because im having a hard time navigating on my POS computer.

Thanks everybody.
