Question brake pedal goes to the floor

I have a 2006 chevy trailblazer EXT LS 4.2 L6, I replaced my driver side caliper along with front driver and passenger brake pads, I've been trying to bleed my brakes and my pedal still goes to the ground after bleeding them all. The reservoir is still full after bleeding the brake lines and fluid comes out of all brake lines. I don't know what else to do or try, I don't know if my brake master cylinder is bad, or something along the lines,. Anything would be great. I have 5 kids and this is my only truck and not enough funds to keep putting into at the moment.

I am not asking the following question to be a wise-@$$, but are you sure that you installed the caliper with the bleeder screw in the up position so that it is at the very top of the caliper? Believe me, it is easy to install it backwards or to put the other side caliper on. Also, did you make sure you were given the correct caliper at the parts store?

If the caliper is installed properly, there could still be some air trapped inside the caliper. Take a rubber mallet and hit the inboard side of the caliper to remove any trapped air.

Now you mentioned that the master cylinder reservoir was still full of brake fluid, When I bleed brakes, I usually go through at least one quart of brake fluid. I bleed the brakes until the fluid coming out of the caliper is clear and no longer dirty. How much fluid did you remove from the right side caliper? I also connect about a 2 foot piece of 1/4" id clear vinyl tubing to the bleeder screw and then submerge the other end into a clear pop bottle with about an inch of fresh brake fluid in the bottom. That way I can watch the air bubbles leave the caliper as my helper presses down on the brake pedal. Be sure and close the brake bleeder screw when your helper lets off the brake pedal.

Good Luck!
