during winter warm/ hot air would only blow through upper vents. I replaced actuator 1 year ago, and has apparently failed again. If the door is dragging, misaligned, I guess it could be stressing and burning out actuator. any ideas suggestions?
now a/c won't work or is intermittent. New module fixed this.
also fan continues to blow when fan turned off, even with ignition key removed, Module seems to have corrected this also.
From reading articles on the internet, I decided the Fan Blower Resistor was bad. No one had it but the dealer. $ 69.95 plus tax. What GM calls a resistor is not the part I removed from n the fan blower area. GM calls it a Module. They have a resistor which would fit in the same opening, but the lead from the vehicle would but plug in. So maybe a resistor and a module are the same.
Still heated air will only blows from dash vents, from experience the Actuator is the problem Again.
