A/C problem
you have to remove the big plastic thing on top of the engine that says VORTEC 4200. farily easy to do.
once this comes off... you can see the throttle body.
over on trailvoy.com theres a section with articles oh HOW TO.... in this case how to clean the throttle body.
has a bunch of pictures on how to remove it and clean.

if you have the engine idle rough or engine shutoff when you turn on AC at idle... then the 1st thing I would do is CLEAN the throttle body. The cleaner cost $5 at auto parts store (Throttle body cleaner).
you cant either remove the entire body to clean throroughly... or leave it on and spray the cleaner in... and move the valve open and close to ffree up built up crud...
This is fairly easy to do... on a scale from 1 to 10.. I give this job a 3.
