I have a 2003 TB and 2 days ago my Service Engine Soon light came on. Auto Zone put the sensor check to it and it stated it was the EVAP system issue.
Does anyone know what the EVAP system is and/pr what it does and how should I fix this? Thanks I’m Advance

Unfortunately for you, Autozone did not give you the OBDII code. It would have been something like P0440, which would narrow down where in the EVAP system the problem is or if it is a small leak or a large leak.
Regardless, the first thing to check is your gas cap as it might not be on all the way.
By the way, there are several components to the EVAP system. There are two solenoids - a vent solenoid and a purge solenoid, a charcoal canister to trap gasoline vapors, the tubing that connects the charcoal canister to the fuel tank and the vent and purge solenoids, a filter on the purge solenoid that filters the air that is drawn into the charcoal canister which is then introduced to the engine for combustion. Then there is the EVAP test port in the engine bay with a green cap which is used to introduce smoke into the EVAP system as a diagnostic aid in finding leaks.
Good Luck!

EVAP is employed to stop gasoline vapors from escaping into the atmosphere from the fuel tank and equipment.
Common EVAP leak codes include:
