Default How do you turn traction control off?

I have a 2004 trailblazer and I can't figure out how to take the traction control off. There is no button by the shifter like on the newer models

You sure you even have traction control. the earlier models did not and if you don't have the button on the shifter then you probably don't have it . I assume you don't have an owners manual , it's all in there.

If you have traction control there should be a button on the side of the shifter and you turn it off to varying degrees using that button ,follow the owners manual on how to shut it off and on .

That's an incorrect statement , I have the 4.2 I6 in mine and I have traction control, for that matter I think it became mandated on all vehicles in 2008.
