Towing with a 2006 Trailblazer LS
Hey guys new to this forum. We just bought a llight weight tow behind camper that weighs 4600 pds. Im just making sure our Trailblazer will be ok to haul it. We have the Vortec 4200 with the tow package. Is there anything else I will need to do also to make the ride smoother. The dealers all said we were ok since our vehicle towing weight inside the door said 5650. Thanks for the help.

I WOULD DEFINITELY CONSIDER HAVING THE TRANSMISSION FLUID FLUSHED WITH THE T-TECH MACHINE AFTER 15K MILES
I HAVE A 2004 LT AND I HAVE BEEN SERVICING THE TRANSMISSION AVERY 15K MILES AND TO MY SURPRISE, I HAD SLIGHTLY DARK FLUID AFTER 15K SINCE MY LAST SERVICE(WHICH WAS A NEW FILTER AND FLUID WHICH COST ME $130.00)
A GOOD FILTER IS A TRANSSTAR
ITS REAL EASY TO CHECK THE FLUID . OPEN THE HOOD, START THE MOTOR PULL THE RED DIPSTICK OUT WIPE IT CLEAN AND THEN RE INSERT IT AND PULL IT OUT AGAIN AND IF THE FLUID ISN'T PINK OR RED, ITS RECOMMENDED TO HAVE IT FLUSHED
IF THE FLUID LOOKS LIKE MOTOR OIL, YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO TAKE IT TO A TRANS SHOP AND HAVE THEM LOOK AT YOUR PAN
THIS CAN SHOW ANY SIGNS OF METAL FLAKES THERE IS A MAGNET IN YOUR PAN AND IT ALSO CATCHES METAL SHAVINGS
