Default 2017 Front Blower Doesn't Turn Off with Key Out of Ignition Switch

My Traverse was parked for a month. When I went to start it, the battery was completely dead - no dash lights. I tried to charge it but the charger kept tripping off like there was a short somewhere. I pulled the positive cable off the battery and the charger started working so I charged the battery for 3 hours. Put the positive cable back on and the AC/Heat blower started blowing without the key in the ignition switch. Car started up and ran fine but the blower will not turn off when I turn off the ignition switch. Also, the AC does not blow cold air when the engine is running.

I've searched through the forum and couldn't find a related topic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It was the blower control module that was bad - RockAuto.com part number 1574313 (15-74313). The resistor (RockAuto.com part number 1581931 (15-81931) that was supposably for my HVAC I couldn't find in the car at all so I sent it back. All's well that ends well.

RockAuto was the best price for what they called GM Genuine parts and the BCM was the exact part number on the old BCM.
