just wondering if anyone has done a catch can on a 3.9L and what you caught?
how have yall went about cleaning the fixed orifice PCV valve on these?
all my other vehicles just had a valve that screwed in and i would replace it every 50k or so... shake it, blow on it and it told you what you needed to know.
but the one on the 3.9 is pressed in and im a bit leery to hit it with solvents not knowing precisely what is inside of it...
i get a rough idle and occasional miss of some sort when it is warming up.... approximately about the temp the thermostat opens. once it warms up to about 200F everything is smooth. I am curious to know if i am getting 'blow by' during this time, and i suppose i am curious to know what it does blow by-wise over an oil change
