Default Driver Side Window Malfunction

2005 Chevy Uplander 90000 miles
My driver side window will not roll up all the way. When you try to roll it up it will go to a certain point and then kind of click like it wants to go up higher but it won't. The same thing happens when you roll it down. It goes all the way down, but then clicks as if there is farther to go. I have already replaced the actuator and motor for the window, because before that the window wouldn't close without a gap. Now the window closes without leaving a noticable gap, but there is enough of a gap to produce a lot of wind noise. Also it seems the more I roll the window down the bigger the gap gets. I have resorted to rolling the window up as much as it will go and then manually pulling the window up the rest of the way. However, when I do this the window won't go down without manually pushing the glass down. Any ideas on how to get this fixed for good?

window regulator has either jumped or broken tooth/teeth

Take off the door panel and inspect.
Replace/repair the assembly as necessary.

service manuals are on charm.li

This is happening after the assembly was replaced. We took out the old one and replaced it with

Front Power Window Regulator w/ Motor Set Driver Side Left LH for Chevy Pontiac
