Location of onStar controller in 2008 Uplander

Location of onStar controller in 2008 Uplander

Hi,

Can someone tell me how to get to the control box for onStar in the 2008 Uplander?

It appears to be on the drivers side behind the instrument panel but I do not want to take the dash apart to get to it. I believe I can get to it if I can remove the plastic panel that is between the instrument panel and the front window. Does anyone know how to remove it?

I need to know where and how would I hook up my OnStar in a 2008 Chevy uplander and what all would it take to hook it up

The OnStar service isn't supported anymore on the uplander.
You need a hardware upgrade and it's been discontinued.

I inquired about the service as well years ago.

I repurposed the gps and cellular connection from the roof for a Android head unit (stereo) with LTE support. Now I have a 2019 uplander 🤣 and mobile wifi and of course radio.
