2004 Venture AWD Disable Light
Hello all,
My 2004 Chevy Venture just started having it's "AWD Disable" light coming on. I though it might have something to do with the center diff. The van would groan when turning around corners, this stopped when the warning came. I had a diagnostic tool run on it for me and there was no stored records of errors. The only thing indicated was an open in the "AWD circuit status". The warning will come and go. Generally for periods of about 1.5 weeks and comes on immediately (no time for anything to overheat). I feel it might be a fraying wire/connector ,but have no idea where to start testing. Can anyone help? Such as locations for the AWD solenoid or places to begin?
Update: I have been under the van looking for a wire that may lead to the center diff. to a solenoid perhaps, but to no avail. If anyone has any information or pictures (or links) that could help, I would appreciate it.
Thank you
