I know this might not be the right place, but here it goes.

So I decided to put in an after market radio in my van (Sony Xplod) and I'm having a bit of trouble finding all the right wires.

I found out that power is Orange but I can't find anything else on the issue online, can someone help me?

 

they make wiring harnesses that will connect to your factory and then go into the after market head unit, but if you decide not to get that all the wires should be there, some wires you wont use, look for the wires that are the same colors but have a diff color strip on one of them, these will be your speaker wires, one is negative the other is positive. the aftetrmarket wiring harness should have some wires with the same colors on it. that about all i can tell you without seeing the actuall wires.

 

Well I have found the ground That's not the issue, what the issue is, I wana know where the dimmer is the illumination and the other stuff, speakers are easy for me, it's just the power and stuff I need help with.

 

Update.

Well I looked at it this afternoon (could see better with sunlight)
and found out that I was looking at the built in CD player harness.

I had all the right wires but I was looking in the wrong spot.
