Custom seat covers for Astro/Safari by Coverking
Hi everyone,
This post is dedicated to all Astro/Safari owners. The seats in these vans are already showing signs wear and tear, so it may be a good idea to make them look like new.
Many of you guys are probably familiar with the brand Coverking, they make very precise seat covers that are available in a wide range of materials and colors. Below you can find an extended information about the items made specifically for these vans:
1. Fitment
The seat covers are available for:
1st Row sears
1996-2005
50/50 Bucket, with Built-In Headrests, with 1 Inboard Armrest Per Seat, with Lumbar ****
50/50 Bucket, with Built-In Headrests, with 2 Armrests Per Seat, with Lumbar ****
50/50 Bucket, with Built-In Headrests, without Armrest Covers
Seat configurations for older models are available too!
2nd Row Seats
Solid Bench, with Removable Headrests, with Armrest Covers
Seat configurations for older models are available too!
3rd Row seats
Solid Bench, with Removable Headrests
Seat configurations for older models are available too!
They are installed with a help of straps, and velcro. You can find the installation instructions here:

2. Materials
Coverking offers 12 materials on your choice. You can review the full list of materials here: Coverking - Materials
The most popular materials are:
Coverking Neosupreme - synthetic material that consists of 2 layers: upper layer soft fabric, bottom foam layer for additional softness and dust/moisture resistance.
Coverking Spacermesh - the most affordable cover that provides entry level protection for your seats and makes them look nice.
Coverking CR grade neoprene - is very similar to the material that is used for wetsuits. It is soft, has additional foam backing and provides excellent protection from water and dust.
Coverking Letherette (synthetic leather imitation) and Coverking genuine leather seat covers are also very popular.
