Spark Plug Help
Hello,
I am currently in the process of updating the maintenance on my 2002 Cavalier. It is a Base Model. It is ~150k miles I am trying to get all of the parts, and my father is going to teach me how to install them. He left me on my own to get the parts! So my questions are:
How many plugs will I need for the 2002 Base Model?
What type of plugs should I get?
Do I need to order anything else with them or just the plugs?
Any other information a Noob should know would be great!
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum...
You will need to buy as many as you have cylinders, most likely 4, but open the hood and count them to be sure...
Here is the info for your vehicle from the owners manual, they are AC Delco part numbers, and I would strongly recommend that you go back with what is in it for reliability, there is no magic spark plug that will get you better performance or MPG... its all hype... go with OEM...
Spark Plugs
2.2L L4 (LN2) 41-928
Gap: 0.040 inch (1.02 mm)
2.2L L4 (L61) 41-981
Gap: 0.042 inch (1.06 mm)
2.4L L4 (LD9) 41-963
Gap: 0.050 inch (1.27 mm)
Here is a link to your owners manual, I would download it and save it for reference..http://www.gm.ca/media/owners/manual...nual_en_CA.pdf
Keep us updated on your progress and keep the questions coming! post a few pictures of that ride too!
