hello, i'm new here. i've heard a lot on these threads about the great gas mileage the colorado with the I5 gets? Could anyone tell me what gas mileage you get in real life with a 4x4 colorado? Also, how good are these trucks in snow? Thanks.

I have a 2006 Colorado Crew Z71 and have never gotten any better than 20mpg's thought i would get better than that but it is about the same as a silverado.
Guys there is no one out there that has more miles on 2004 colorado than I do. I have 127,000 miles on 4x4 with I5 motor I get 23.5 high way and 19 city and 20.5 combined. These are the facts people!!!
I had a 2005 Crew 4X4 Z71 with 3.5L I5, 4.10 axle ratio.
I normally would get about 20mpg and 23 on highway trips, 17.5mpg was my very worst tank (not towing).
The truck was bullet proof and I towed a boat that weighed 5,000lbs without any trouble and returned 15+mpg.
It also was also very competent off-road and in the snow although I was not a big fan of the OEM General tires.
