Default How to remove & install dipstick tube

Hi,

I have 2004 2500 V8 6L express cargo van.
And engine oil tube(dipstick tube: part#: 12609756) was broken.
So I want to replace the tube.

However, as you know, it is not easy to remove and install it.
Can I do it myself or do I have to go to dealers?
If the job is easy enough, please let me know the methods and/or tools for it.

Thanks.

Check a Haynes repair manual. If this is in there, it will have step by step info.
