Default Transmission leak

I have a 2006 Express 3500 Cutaway, The transmission is leaking and I believe it might be at a circular plug right above the pan on the drivers side, Two of its wires have also broken. But, the amount of gunk behind/under the transmission makes me think it might be more than just that plug, especially because it doesn't seem to be concentrated right behind the plug, although the plug area is the only place that is actively leaking when it is parked.

I haven't been able to find any other posts with this issue, so if anyone has any idea on what that plug is called so I can try to replace it and any insight on the leak that would be great.
