Default Stop leak for A/C compressor leak?

People are telling me to use 134a and stop leak to fix my A/C issue. I have small little bubbles coming out of the compressor housing where there is a joint. (red arrow in picture)

Would it be worth trying some stop leak and then add freon? Or is that hoping for too much? and would I damage anything in the process?

It probably will not work if it leaks fast enough to see. Also AC stop leak can cause other problems with the system. At my shop before we put any equipment on any AC problem we test for stop leak if it is in there will will not touch it. It will destroy any shop AC equipment. Fix it right and fix it only 1 time.
