air ride 2005 chevrolet suburban LT Autoride all wheel drive
I was wondering, i recently changed my rear breaks on a 2005 chev suburban LT autoride and i see that the rear air shock boot is torn on both sides of my truck, but their is no message of any kind showing their is a problem, itis pretty level for the most part does sag a little when loaded down, do i have to use air shocks or can i use a regular heavy duty type of shock any info would be greatly appreciated thank you

you should be able to get a regular shock. pull the rtd fuse to the compressor so it won't run all the time. This will turn on a service suspension message in the dic. With enough key cycles, the system will forget you have air ride and the messages will stop.
