Default power steering

call me a moron but i dont know where to put the power steering fluid i looked up and down the engine compartment and cant find it for nothing somebody please help me its a 2001 v6 i think the ls model

If it is a rear wheel drive the pump will be on the drivers side front of the engine about half way down. There is a cap on top of the pump with a dip stick on it. It it is front wheel drive it will be on the passenger side. If you stand on the passanger side and look at the front of the engine it should be around the top. It may or may not be part of the pump. If you look in the owners manual it should tell you too. If it is front wheel drive that may not be right, but it is generally in that area.
