Default 06 Monte Carlo fuel system help

Just wondering if anyone knows if the early evaporation line on the 06 MC is a high pressure line? While changing the fuel pump I went to disconnect it (right above the fuel line at drivers front of fuel tank) and the quick disconnect was so stuck on there I had to cut it off. I can order a new line for it but it's going to throw me behind 3 days and I was thinking of going to the parts store and getting some fuel line and a few hose clamps. The hose goes to what im assuming is part of the evap system (like a block on the tank drivers side.) Since its such a PITA to drop the tank by myself I thought I'd ask before experimenting. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated. BTW it's an 06 model with the 3.5l.
