1998 Blazer Running Sluggish
Hi guys!
I recently purchased a 1998 4wd Blazer, my first Chevy
It has the 4.3 V-6 and 4L60-E transmission.
The issue that I am having is that when I come to a complete stop and let the RPM's drop to idle, it is terrible getting it up to speed. The RPM's will go to the moon and back, but it's physical acceleration is slower than walking pace for the first 10-12 seconds. I have to shift it from L to 2 to D manually to go anywhere! It's almost like the transmission isn't engaging. Any ideas as to what it could be? It had the check engine light on because of two solenoids in the transmission, which I had replaced, but that did not correct the problem. Please help!
Thank you!

Are you loosing any water at all? If you are, I have a 1997 s10 Blazer that did the same thing and it end up to be the intake casket on both side were leaking a little bit. I replace them and that fix my problem. Hope this helps you.
