Default 89" s10 blazer with electrical ghost.

Hey guys, need some help with my sons s10 blazer.
Several electrical devices stopped at once.
horn, radio, dome light, cigarette lighter, rear hatch release.
No fuses are blown. (not that my old eyes can see)
Any thoughts on what might be a common denominator?
Thanks for any help!

It would be the ground for the fusebox not making connection I would think. Have you checked it with a DMM or test light to assure that there is a good ground connection?

Yea like Euro said, ues a test light or DMM instead of just pulling the fuse to see if it is blown. The fuse for these things should be powered at all times, so see if there is power going to the fuse. If there is then your looking for a common point(splice pack) after the fuse. If not, you will have a break or corrosion between the fuse and the battery.

Hey Eurogoldls and shawnvw, Thanks for the wake-up call.
Gotta take the vette to the local cruise-in in Montgomery right now, but tomorrow we will start chasing the ground problem. Thanks again....Great Forum.

Where would this ground wire be? I thought about that as well but I was thinking that all of those things had seperate ground wires. Would this still be the case if some of the fuse block is still functional? The orange wire under the carpet, is that the ground wire?
Thanks guys!

Adam
