Default Love My Blazer

Hi Guys,

I love my 2001 LS Blazer. Unfortunately it is now a project for me as someone left a bolt in the engine after doing work on her and it tried to escape through the sump about a month ago. It left a 20mm hole in the sump and destroyed a piston. Still ran nice under power however the piston was clamped up on the dudgeon pin and she ran rough at idle, so now I am looking at dropping an 8 into her. I hope to glean some good advise from this forum. I forgot to say I am from NZ so she is a goofy not a lefty

Hi Guys,
I am struggling to get my hands on the right engine here in New Zealand. Can anyone be my friend and help me source A good drop in Chevy 350 Vortec between 96 & 99 5.7. I do all of the importing for the company I work for so I have those contacts but I am very nervous about parting with cash from this distance on an item I have not eyeballed or would be able to return if it had issues. Is there anyone willing to be my buddy or have access to what I am looking for.

Hi Guys I found a good low Mileage 2001 Blazer to use as a donor and will swap out the good for old. Would it be easier to pull out the whole engine and transmission together, rather than just removing the Engine. Any advise would be helpful.

Default ABS dash lights always on

I have a 2001 Blazer with 114900 miles on her.I bought it second hand back in July 2015.What`s the deal with the brake lights staying on.I`ve heard if you take out the fuses for the ABS that would fix it.But it hasn`t worked.2 more things I heard are as follows.Check the ground from the module to the driver side near the radiator..Buy another ABS module.Anyone out there has had this problem? If so what did you do to correct this problem..

Thanks!

Unhappy sensor

sounds like you have a faulty sensor on your brakes. You will need to plug into a computer to know which one. That usually costs more then the sensor.
