I have decided to ditch my factory stereo and add a aftermarket one. I was wondering if my 'Nox has a factory amp or not. I hear its supposed to be under the passenger rear seat, but I did not see one in mine. Is it in plain site, or covered up? I need to know this to decide which interface cable to buy. I found a AXXESS XSVI - 210, but not sure it's the one I need. My ride does not have OnStar or Bose system. Thanks!

If you have a pioneer system you will have an amp
Equinox's do not come with Bose. Easiest way to tell is to look at the tweeters in the front doors. they'll say pioneer right on them

Thanks, I did install another system, wasn't too hard. I do have a question though, when I hooked up my new system, I used the blue connector, but what is the other (black) connector for? The radio works fine, but I was just curious what the black connector is used for. (In the picture, the one on the left) Thanks for the help!
