Exclamation 2002 GMC 2500 won't start if engine is warm

All right I need a hand. I have a 2002 GMC 2500. When the engine is cold it will start but after it warms up and you turn it off it will not start unless I give it a shot of ether. Fuel filters all new and fuel pressure is ok. I am thinking it's a sensor but which one. It is a 6.0 Desiel. Also it would not start at all unless you shot in ether warm or cold but now it won't start when warm. Sits a couple hours and it is fine. Good power and pulls a loaded trailor with no problem.

Hi RMRS,

Welcome to the Chevy forums.
.
I moved your post to the full-size pick-up section, and posted to get you to the top of the field.

I'm left to assume that's the 6.2 diesel. What's the mileage?

Good luck.
