Default 2003 5.3 chevy fuel pump, which one??

Shopping around on the internet there are two different fuel pumps for my vehicle. One with evap. emissions & one without evap. emmissions, how do I find out which one I need?? I know if I go to Oreillys there gonna tell me to take one of each and bring back the one I dont use but I would rather buy from rockauto.com as they are $60 cheaper even after shipping. I've lots of fuel pumps in before so it's not that big of a job, just wish I knew which pump I need.

Try punching your VIN into Parts Information | ACDelco and then look up the P/N. You're going to want an ACDelco part if you want it to last, anyway.

Thank you for the info, I was either gonna go with an ACdelco or a Delphi pump.

Hmm, the back-end must be down. They keep mucking around with that. However, you just need to locate the SPID label (on the glove compartment door or spare tire cover) and then see if you have RPO code EVA on it. If you see the code, you need to get one for EVAP.

Just bought a new Delphi fuel pump assembly off ebay for $216 with free shipping. Rock auto wanted $224 plus shipping and I think Oreillys wanted $275 to $300 so I thought I got a good deal on it (knock on wood).
