dimmer wire: which one? which fuse?
oops. i have to rewrite circuit layout
<br /><br />
connecting guage bulb to neg and fuse ILLUM seems to work but i'm unsure if that ok, need to re-check layout
<br /><br />
connecting guage bulb to positive and fuse ILLUM operates brighness in reverse of other bulbs
<br /><br />

just so you know... electrons flow from - negative toward + positive terminal
in metal-ion battery (lead acid, zinc-magnesium "alkaline" acid, ...) metal-acid produces negative ions (flowing toward) a metal-base consuming ions. carbon/pile conductor is on + terminal because unlike steel, carbon on base won't rust
HOWEVER: engineers have two standards labeling current, so for V=I*R if you see a diagram with I and an arrow: you cannot necessarily trust arrow! for a parallel circuit there may be multiple arrows and for AC alternating, these may fluctuate on some branches
