Default 97 silverado ignition switch problem

I have a 97 silverado with a 5.7 350 engine. My problem is that it cranks initially but after i drive it somewhere and cut it off it will not restart immediately. i can wait twenty to thirty minutes and it will crank right up. Is the problem my ignition switch or could something else be causing this ? I have changed the starter relay and checked the fuses, the switch costs about 200 bucks and i don't want to replace it if it could be something else
