Default CV Joint Boot

I got a 2006 silverado 1500 z71. I noticed that grease was coming out of my inner cv joint boot on my passenger side. when i was looking at it, i saw that the clip was off of it and that is why it was leaking grease. the boot has no holes, cracks, or anything. can i just put some more grease in it and put a new clip on it? or do i have to replace the whole boot?

You can try a new clamp. If you just have MINOR sprays of flung grease you may not even need new grease.
