Default horrible grinding noise

I have a 1997 Chevy Silverado k1500 it has been making this horrible grinding noise coming from the rear of the truck at first I thought it was the breaks rubbing but I replaced them and it still does it. It seems to go away when im driving and put it in neutral and coast. I also lifted each end up and put it in neutral and spun the wheels and it made the noise for both wheels. Is it possible both wheel bearings go out at the same time?? Or does it sound like it could be something else.

Thanks

Grinding or whinding noise when I accelerate but mostly not until I get to about 40 or 45. It stops for the most part when I take my foot off the gas. I oiled the rear differential and the transfer case but its still doing it. Also the anti lock brake light is on. Also I believe my emergency brake cable came loose from the frame but I haven't really tested it to see if it works. Can someone please help me with this noise?
