Default horrible hesitation and stumble

Hi i hope i can find someone to head me in the rite dirrection here.
I have an 89 chevy 1500 truck 350 tbi and it has a cold running problem that has got me stumpped .the service eng light is not on and functioning properly and the truck seems to run great after it is warmed up but cold in the mornning it falls on its face (bad bad hesitation ) before it will take off , and my truck is a 5 speed California model
any help would be greatly appreciated ,

vacuum leak is a likley possibility and simple to search for just get a can of starter fluid and spray the vacuum hoses but dont just go hog wild slow and steady and when the starter fluid finds the leak it will make the engine rev up good luck

thanks for your responses i will give the carb spray a shot and see what happens
