Default Need opinions/reviews 2011 Silverado

Hi guys, new here. Going to make this short and sweet currently have a 2005 f150 supercrew lariat. Considering trading it in for a 2011 Silverado Crew cab LT with 38,000 on it. I test drove the truck today and it drove nice. Is there any problems with this model? Should I be sure to check anything out? How do you like your 2011 Silverado. Any and all input is greatly appreciated. Thanks !

Greetings...I have the 2012 year (see sig for details) but I don't think there are major differences between the two years. I've had the truck for about 13 months (bought it brand new) and I haven't been disappointed. Prior to this truck, I drove a 2004 Colorado.

One thing...these trucks with the non-navigation radio may have that high-pitched whistling sound that GM refuses to address. I replaced my radio on my own dime. My dealer wanted to make things right for me for me but GM would not authorize replacing the defective radio. So I give an A to my dealer and a big fat F to GM with that situation. More information on this issue is available here: https://chevroletforum.com/forum/sil...nt-ring-49546/

Anyway - its a great truck, and I haven't been disappointed with the MPG's for a truck of its size. But then again I wasn't in the market for the best MPG's since I was looking for a truck. I hope this info helps...please feel free to let me know if there are any specifics you have in mind. Good luck!
