Default how do i get this lenscover off?

how do i get this lenscover (the bottom one on passenger side front) off my 2000 silverado?

i have crawled all over and don't see an easy way---or no way. it's half full of water and my bulb is rusted out. thx for the help...jw

You can not remove the lens. You must replace the entire light.

oh no, thats prolly a $100. ok---so how do i get it off the truck---period? if i gotta pay a lot for it i surely can't afford the labor also.

I would just take it off let it dry out then put some clear silicone around where the lense and the houseing meet. You should be good to go after that.

i'm not trying to be an a** or anything guys but my question was, HOW do i take it off? i can't find where the screws are,hinges, whatever's holding it in there. i crawled under my truck. my hand barely gets to the inside while under the hood. and i still can't see where to get to it.

ANYBODY done this before????? thanks.....

I think you need to remove the grill.

as your looking at the light check the left side of the lens between the light and the fender, there might be a tab you push in and pull the the light outward at the same time.

To take off the bumper light housing you're going to have to take off the headlight first. After this, you will be able to see a tab on the left side that holds the bumper light housing in place. Push the tab to the left then pull out (toward yourself) and to the left. It'll come right out.
