Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

The Maximum tow weight for an LS 2500 2005 Suburban is 12,000 with the 4.10 rear axle ratio and 8.1L engine and with the 3.73 rear axle ratio with the same engine it can tow 10,300 pounds. If you have the 6.0L engine then that rating is either 7,700 pounds with the 3.73 rear axle ratio or with 4.10 rear axle the rating would be 9,700 pounds. I hope this information helps you. I also found this inforamtion in your owners manual section 4 page 66.
