Roll over rating on an S-10 Blazer
my rating....... successful
did this about a month an a half ago........ was offroading, and ended up going too fast down a dirt road, and lost it down into a culvert....
this was all a month after a grand worth of engine work....... so, it was soon replaced with this, which just HAPPENED to need a motor

Damn. That really sucks. That was my top reason for lowering my Blazer. I hydroplaned off into a ditch right after lowering it and I feel that if I had not have lowered it, it would have rolled. I didn't hurt anything though. It hit hitch-first and save me from any damage.
I'm assuming your new Blazer is a 97 4wd?

it really needs to be lifted for what i do with it, i caved in the gas tank on the red one a few weeks before i flipped it. I have a bad habbit of getting in too deep on trails, and having no choice but to go forward....lol

yea, it may be getting a 4 inch body lift soon, just to get some bigger rubber under it
thats one of the things i really dislike blazers, they seem to have ALOT of body roll, factory

Another thing you may want to consider is Bushwacker Cutout fender flares!! I am getting some of those soon and they add like three inches more tire room! They look sweet too!

I agree. Better not accelerate hard when turning right. You'll do an accidental burnout!
You can get some stiffer sway bars and eliminate a lot of the roll.
Roll in the front on a 4wd is caused by too much bound in the shocks.
On the 2wds, the A-arms in the front are at too much of an angle for any anti-roll unless you go with better shocks and springs.

I think we have another nominee for the WOTM.
I like to widen the the tire spacing along with lifting the truck to try and keep it stable. Let's be honest though, the biggest problem with the stability is the very limited articulation of the front IFS when you go off road.
