Default Suburban Jump Seat
Does anyone have a picture or diagram of a 2001 jump seat release mechanism?

Are you referring to the seat between the driver and passenger front seats? If so, the one in my 2002 hasn't got a release. It's bolted to the floor by the same bolts that fasten the front seats in place.

You can't remove it without unbolting the front seats.
