CEL triggered when oil at < 5% on the mid ??

CEL triggered when oil at < 5% on the mid ??

Hey all. The check engine light tripped today. When I cycle through the mid display for any info I see the oil life at less than 5%. Are these two related?

Any tricks to finding out what the code is? What it means? Everything seems normal.

possibly but what year model and engine are we talking about?

The OLM shouldn't trigger the CEL. A low oil will tho.

Most auto parts stores will check codes for free.
