Default 2001 Tahoe Replacing Seats, any compatible years???

The seats on the wife's tahoe are pretty much shot, motors are broken, and leather is ripped. Will all tahoes out of that body style (2000-2006) have interchangable seats? Would newer body series (2007-newer) work as well? Thanks in advance! -Dave

Unfortunately, the seats start to wear after a while and as you have experienced, you need to repair them. The front seats in the Tahoe for the years 1999 - 2006 will work in your truck, as will Suburban, Escalade and Full size pickups. You could use the newer body style seats, but they will not directly bolt in and it would be much easier to use the same year as your Tahoe. There are many sources for the seats, such as Ebay, Craigslist or wrecker. You can get covers for your current seats, but since the motors are a problem, it may be best to try and locate something working.

Good luck with your update.
